DEVIL TOWN - complete Barley pmv M.A.P

EYOO!! After about five months, this map is finally complete!! I'm super proud of the end result and of everyone that joined and helped making this possible! Thank you all so much!
This map is about Barley overcoming the trauma of his past life in Bloodclan, and him finding a better life together with Ravenpaw in the barn. He is honestly a super underrated character and I find his story to be very interesting! His brothers, Hoot and Jumper, are two of my favorite characters as well.

I really felt the emotion emitting off the art, as well as the chosen song. The art was absolutely beautiful. I really loved how there was a red hue whenever BloodClan was involved as a whole. And I really liked the elements of adding in the scenes from Ravenpaw's Path and Barley's kithood. Those aren't really recognized as much as other parts in time are. The expressions were clear and the lines were clean. I also enjoyed the smaller details such as the strand of wheat in Barley's mouth, etc. It really brought this MAP to life.

It's so funny to me how cowardly both Ice and Snake really were. They were only feared because they were Scourge's lackey's, but the second they saw how angry Barley and Violet really were to the point they brought a large group "Wild" cats, including the one that killed the former Bloodclan leader, they bolted while those who were going to obey them got the crap beat out of them, saw how cowardly their new "leaders" were and chased them off too. Then they tried to emotionally manipulate Barley because he was exhausted, mentally, emotionally, and physically exhausted because he just wished everything was back to how it was when they were kits, when they were a family, because he saw his brothers try to kill their own sister. And in the end, he finally got up the strength to call them out on who they really were, a couple of cowards that put up a guise that their as ruthless and strong as scourge, when in reality they're just a couple of power-hungry, manipulative, cold-hearted idiots who can't do crap for themselves. I loved it when Barley spoke up for Ravenpaw, he really sent them the message that he was sick of their shit.

Yeah right!! The scene at the end of the manga when Barley snaps is really satisfying ahsjad Jumper and Hoot are like my favorite villains, they're so stupid and incompetent. They think they're so cool and scary but in reality they're just cowards lmao

Anyone else notice the wheat stem (idk what it's called, lol) in barley's mouth sometimes? Kinda cool. I loved this map, and all the animators did wonderfully. Happy that Jumper and Hoot got some love!

"Hoot! I want to find Firestar Ravenpaw and Barley, if it wasn't for them we would be in BloodClan!" Bramblestar hissed. "Shut up Jumper you mouse-brained *fool*, have you got bees in your brain? We are leaders, meaning Firestar's dead, and Barley and Ravenpaw didn't even lived with the clans in the first place!" Bristlefrost pushed herself in, to find Bramblestar twitching on the ground as if he was fighting the air, constantly hissing at himself, he didn't seem to notice her. Bristlefrost slowly stepped out of the den making her way to the fresh-kill pile, with her eyes fixed at her leader. *Squirrelflight will have to deal with him.* she tought.
