As of right now, "Devil World" is now officially playable on the NIntendo Switch via the NES Online Service, which really saves the trouble of emulating the game illegallly and/or buying bootleg cartridges of it on Ebay.

I'm guessing the Japanese name for Co-Devil is likely Ko-Akuma (小悪魔) which means Little Devil, which is why they may have gotten the Co-Devil bit.

3:38 I spent one winter as a salesgrunt at a (possibly sketchy) mall kiosk which sold, among other things, those knockoff NES-clone-in-a-controller-with-"78000"-games. One customer saw this game on a demo TV, and loudly harassed me for a good ten minutes about how I *personally* was encouraging kids to worship devils with this "Satanic game". Eventually, I got in enough words edgewise to point out how it was a game about fighting *against* devils, and they cooled down enough to stop driving away customers. Still, this game clearly failed the "Idiot In A Hurry test", so the non-release in North America makes sense.

Pat, do you know a game on nes in which you have two knights (blue and red). The game is side-scrolling and "levels"/areas are interconnected up-down-left-right. Red knight can swim better in water while blue one is generally better. I played it long time ago but can't remember name .

It's possible that they just forgot to mark it as "import", but I've actually found this game in the advertisement for game stores on multiple occasions, when looking through older (Swedish) gaming magazines. Is it possible that they released it in only a handful of European countries (like they did with Mr. Gimmick)?
