Chief has a VERY good chance against Vader. He's got the skills, tenacity, quick thinking, luck, and physical feats with along with his suit to potentially overpower Vader alone. With the use of projectiles as well, that's gonna be a real bitch for a lightsaber user. The only think he'd have trouble with him, is Vader's force abilities and that can be potentially countered with Chief's clever thinking, and almost guarenteed if he's got an AI assistant like Cortana installed into his suit.

@@romankvapil9184 it'd be tough I mean by pure physical feats, reaction speed, and weaponry alone master chief has Vader, but Vader can sense anybody coming and stop projectiles mid air, has the ability to force choke which doesn't require him to get his hands physically on chief and can literally rip entire ships out of the air which we seen master chief got royally messed up by the Didact who had only a fraction of that ability with gravity manipulation. I'd have to side with vader due to bullshit space magic, but I think chief has too much plot armor and luck that he'd escape alive somehow.

Slugthrowers (aka guns) were used specifically to fight lightsaber wielders because the bullets wouldn’t be deflected. They would melt and the molten metal would then hit the target. MC is very much a HUGE threat to Vader and if Vader didn’t have any intel on MC beforehand, he would likely die very quickly due to MCs speed and efficiency. Vader could force push MC but he might not put enough force into the push because he probably wouldn’t realize that the chief weighs over a ton. If Vader is surprised for even a moment, he is a dead man.
