“Dinner at Julia’s” foreshadowed what she would do in the later “Master Chefs & Baking” series

I’ve enjoyed watching Julia Child create wonderful food for 6 decades. I am grateful for these video reruns even though Julia’s gone. Thank you.

I'm glad to see episodes of this series "Dinner at Julia's." I remember watching this on PBS at that time on weekends with my parents and watching her taste the wines. We laughed when we heard her sipping and gulping the wine because I think the microphone was close to her throat to hear her voice. You can her sipping and gulping in this episode, lol. I listened for it because I remember that after all these years. I was hoping they would bring this series back on PBS, mostly the Create channel with all the cooking shows. I looked for it here on youtube and was glad to finally see it here now. Looking forward to seeing more. She was the best and I always enjoy watching her. She must have been amazing to know in person.

This is priceless, thank you for uploading her videos 🌟 her kitchen was ahead of its time - open plan design. Love the winged chairs by the cosy fire 💛

One of Hemingway's favorite dishes was rabbit cooked like this but instead covered in garlicky mayo before cooking. Delicious!

At the beginning, I think Julia had a bit too much wine. She seemed a tad bit tipsy. 😂

I'd love to try that deviled rabbit ensemble. I don't think I've ever seen rabbit in a supermarket in my neck of the woods.

Just ask the butcher to order you a frozen one. They show up near the holidays frozen at some Safeways with the geese and ducks. And most Asian markets carry them.

Watching the smoked salmon factory I felt something was off and then I realized it's quiet. Before all the giant machinery that makes reporters/hosts wear earmuffs and we still can barely hear them over the mics.

I`ve never seen these episodes before. I wonder why they are not showing her husband Paul. I guess he was still alive at that time.

He is sitting at the head of the table on the other end. You can see him at the 26:56 mark when Julia is doing her outro.

They aren't showing him, because this was the start of his Alzheimers disease. He lasted 10 years with it, most of which was spent in a nursing home.
