This long battle was the highlight of the entire DLC for me. The callback to Yakuza 3, Fog getting the love it always deserved. Just wish it was longer. I wouldn’t have minded if they tossed all subtlety out the window and had us kicking doors down yelling “KENMOCHI!” so we could give him the full Kanda treatment. Still, the story cutscenes and boss battle that caps this chapter off were phenomenal.

havent played it yet so skipped the cutscenes but its rlly cool how fog is getting used more, sure it was used for a rlly cool fight in the base game but that was like the only time it got used

I'm glad the dlc made proper use of Fog and Hydra

Yeah, Fog was only used once and the other time it could’ve played, they used Hydra instead for some reason.

Now that we have Kaito playable and some of his story what do you think of his feats so far? Seems like he is very strong, lifting vespas, marble tables or whatever that was and most most of his basic punches seem to have a long wind up. It makes Kaito look like an absolute brute but where would he stand in comparison to other protagonists?

He blocked Kenmochi's lamppost with no damage whatsoever, and then won the fight between both of them. I'd say at a minimum Kaito's as strong as Kiryu at the end of 0/beginning of 1.

I don't understand why did they not add the new game plus for the kaito files it would've been great as their beat em ups have to horsepower unless it's Kiryu

I wonder if there’s a third judgement, they’ll add a version of fog in it as a nice callback to lost judgment, that would be awesome and hopefully than the original version

Who knows in 3rd Judgement, Yagami and Kaito have a case in Hawaii with help from Sugiura, Tsukumo, Higashi and Amasawa (Kyoko ones)

Kaito is the closest we’ll ever get to play as Kiryu again in terms of gameplay.
