I watched DMCB this year and it was INCREDIBLE. In fact I don't think I quite understood it and want to watch it again but it was absolutely wrecking (gore = not good) for me and I was devastated by the music not being used much. THE MUSIC IS WHY I WANTED TO WATCH IT and I had no other idea of what DMCB was. Good music and 18+ content. I did NOT expect that first episode or the last. It was an eyes glued to the screen anime from start to finish. Superb.

If you do watch it again, look at it in the context of the whole story being God trying to teach/redeem Satan with an endless cycle of pain of Satan's own doing. If you noticed the world seemingly getting reset at the end of the series, a it's basically the beginning on another cycle. Sort of like a Sisyphean task, where, unfortunately, humans, including the main characters, are basically just vectors to enact the punishment cycle.

@@VoidHynx Oh, yeah I don't think you can safely watch it back to back lmao. Not saying I'm 100 percent right either, but I saw that theory around when I first watched it in 2017, and it blew my mind that I didn't consider the main character to us might not be the main character of the story.
