I think they won the first two games in a row, antagonized the caps, and rioted in celebration (overturned cop cars, lit them on fire, broke windows, etc). They went on to lose the next 4 in a row and rioted in frustration lmao. Maybe I shouldn't be surprised, as they say "public protests are a nation pastime of the French".

Devils fans really think they had Igor beat after that first period. Shesterkin was coming to far out of his crease on those first two goals. I sure Benoît Alliare talked to him during the first intermission because he stayed tight to the posts for the rest of the game and his side to side game got easier.
