People may think we're weird but Devils Tower looks like a tree stump. So let it be known that we have strange ideas. We were glad to have had a chance to stop by this popular destination.

I did sandblasting for about 10 years and in so doing I made quite a few redwood signs. At one point a customer brought in 3 or 4 planks of redwood that was strange, it had been petrified or calcified or some kind of chemical process that was out of the ordinary. Point being, the boards were dense as hell, very heavy, and they were harder to sandblast than granite. I have no doubt that that is what remains of a gigantic tree.
@notaboutthedestination5693 Жыл бұрын
That's is a really interesting story!
@bigj2518 Жыл бұрын
Thank you kind sir! Where I did sandblasting I worked with all different kinds of stone and wood. I only encountered wood like that once and I can tell you it was a pain in the ass. The process to make those signs was to get the boards planed and then biscuit join them and glue them together. Next you put the glue down for the stencil that was for the sign and then you sandblast it. The wood that is between the grain is softer and it usually blasts down more quickly but the grain blast down as well just more slowly. That is what gives redwood signs, and other woods, that neat wavy pattern. On that wood the grain wouldn’t go down, between the grain wouldn’t go down, and I blasted it for hours with abrasive sand. The finished product looked like crap and the design just barely went down and looked like a shadow instead of having deep letters and border like is desirable. Just thought I would share from personal experience, I never thought about wood being like stone until I encountered it personally.

From the wiki "Geologists Carpenter and Russell studied Devils Tower in the late 19th century and came to the conclusion that it was formed by an igneous intrusion.[18] In 1907, geologists Nelson Horatio Darton and C. C. O'Harra (of the South Dakota School of Mines) theorized that Devils Tower must be an eroded remnant of a laccolith."

Watch - “no forests on flat earth”. A video that came out years ago that focused on the hypothesis that not only was Devils Tower once a tree, but it was one of the smaller ones on this realm that we call earth. I haven’t looked at mesas the same since. It always leads to the question - if there were trees that enormous, “who cut them down, and with what?”

I've heard somewhere that long ago life was silicon based. Silicon would put more oxygen in the air allowing massive creatures like dinosaurs and Giants. These stumps are over the world and these trees could of been pure crystal. Lava does not petrify logs and turn them to crystal lol Underground caves with quartz are the roots. Giants cut down all the trees and the ocean is a giant quarry, with volcanoes being compost piles. Avatar is a good representation of what they did to our planet. Thanks for the video!

Roger Sporr of Mud Fossil University thinks this 'rock' is actually a foot. From one of the angles of view indeed it does look like a foot and if you consider the striated musculature of feet and where they tend to break off at the tibia and fibula the tower looks foot like. Stand back and Devil's Tower does appear to be a gigantic foot which opens another very interesting can of info worms.

Such an amazing rock ... it looks like it could be petrified wood, but it's probably just rock! WHAT would anyone have been able to CUT THROUGH a tree that massive, in ancient times?
@RavenRaven-se6lr3 жыл бұрын
After reading about it in a biker book Victory Caught your U blog . Wow thanks from 🇦🇺👍 . We have only one rock as popular Uluru ! Airs Rock . You can no longer walk on it.

Thanks for sharing about Airs Rock. I looked it up and it is impressive. It really looks like a tree stump from aerial view. It's a shame you can't walk on it anymore.

@@notaboutthedestination5693 The Trees were huge. just think of what cut them. and where did the trunks go? what were they used for? so much is hidden or just not known. I fell timber for years. its easy for me to see. but others may not ....

I agree! I also believe it was a giant tree! The question remains though, who cut it down? The Nephlim ?

I wanted to see more footage of Devil's Tower; didn't realize it was a walking selfie video.
@notaboutthedestination56937 ай бұрын
For a 5 min video I got some epic shots of the tower. There was a couple topics I wanted to share one of course was that we thought it was a tree. However the transitions could of been more smooth though. But all and all it turned out well. Thanks for watching and your input!

But basalt looks just like it.
@unfriendlyfire15823 ай бұрын
@1133saginaw It looks similar in grain structure and kinda feels the same, but the colors in petrified wood are normally much different. The Kerrigan wood I've seen has yellow, orange even pink and blue in it. I've never seen basalt with as much color as the petrified wood I've seen.

With a 4 mile deep and 7 mile wide root system I’d say it’s a ancient tree

The reason why the giant tree stumps still remain is because of whats known as " Immobile minerals " They are minerals such as calcium and copper & iron that have accumilated and hardened up at the base of the tree but do not travel further up in to the tree trunk like N - P - K do . 🌲🌲🌳🌳🌴🌴🌵🌿☘🍀🌻

@jcarm1853 ай бұрын
I would not be surprised if it is a giant ancient tree stump; not far away in the Black Hills just west of Mt. Rushmore is Horse Thief Lake and the entire area around, including across the 244 highway are massive giant petrified tree logs laying mostly half or two thirds burried in the ground as if some great ancient cataclysm wrecked them. There's crystalized tree sap too on these massive now rock logs.
@notaboutthedestination56933 ай бұрын
That is very interesting and would like to go see that area someday. It may turn out that petrified trees are actually branches of giant trees.

I agree with your theory. Look at it from google earth and back out and up. You'll see what looks like branches which are mountain ridges around it.
