"Not a great athlete" Measured insanely well in the combine tests, plus finished at the rim at a high level. He might not have the handles to keep up, but that's different. Maybe he can improve.

Maybe he meant not always functional or struggles in traffic.

With the Kings, it’s most likely that he’ll be out there with one of Monk or Fox or both. They are both ballhandlers so I don’t think he’ll have to worry about ball handling as much as

Not a great athlete? Carter set a NBA combine record with a 2.87 second sprint, beating every propect over the last decade plus. And was Top 3 in vertical. So you could arguably say he enters the NBA as the fastest player in the league. I think where you could misinterpret the tape is he uses his speed selectively.

First two minutes, "Carter is not the best athlete". Did you see his draft combine? That portion of the video aged horribly.

This is why I want my Spurs to trade down from #4 possibly to the Blazers. Spurs Receive: Picks 7 & 14 Blazers receive: Pick 4 and Keldon Johnson Therefore we draft: #7 - Stephon Castle #8 - Tidjane Salaun #14 - any of following Devin Carter Jared McCain Kel'el Ware Ryan Dunn Dalton Knect (if he falls, etc)

Super good setup. I would love Jared in San Antonio

I’m gonna have to disagree with what he said at the 4:00 mark. If there’s a spot in the midrange he’s comfortable shooting at with confidence then he should attempt that shot as often as he wants no matter if the stats says layups/dunks & 3’s have a higher make percentage.

Devin Carter is going to come off the bench throughout his career? He's not athletic? He's not long? He's too small? Brother, he looks like Derrick White. Slots in perfectly at multiple positions next to any stars.
