That sister's voice is Alexis Brown her voice can range like Tatiana Shmaylyuk from Jinger. She definitely amazing and there from Knoxville Tennessee. Stright Line Stitch. Is no joke to Metal Core. Alot of people don't know how talented Alexis is. There a song with Jasta from Hatebreed with Alexis Brown. It's straight up FIRE bro.

I love Alexis Brown. I remember when they came out on MySpace and helped them getting up with other bands in the area. They went far farther than the other bands I’m still friends with Alexis on one of my facebooks and I wish she would start back singing in a band but she is just trying to raise and take care of her family. She’s very down to earth and great to talk to. She was one of if not the first female lead metalcore band I heard of. Granted I heard of arch enemy back then but they we death-metal back then. But I do truly believe they started the whole female fronted Metal core band. But yes they were so underground it was crazy. But a lot of people still knew about them.

Alexis is one of the nicest people you will ever meet. I met her and Jason at a few of their concerts. Awesome band. I hope they start making music again. From what I understand they started a family together. I wish them all the best in whatever they do!!!

SLS is UHMAZING. I saw then in concert 3 times when they were just getting started. So much talent. Lex is so humble and meek. You'd have to seek her out because she was shy and soft spoken but such an amazing person!

Straight Line Stitch is a great band. My band was scheduled to share the stage with them years ago, but unfortunately was cancelled due to their vehicle breaking down during the winter. If you want more SLS, check out their song "Conversion". To me, that's their best song.

The bands that have influenced my music tastes and will always have a special place in my heart have black singers. Killswitch, SLS, Sevendust, Fire from the Gods, and a few others proved to any haters out there that metal isn't about color. That being said, there's something to be said about the soul in the vocals that black singers bring to the genre. *I just knew that at the start of the video you were gonna say "Is that a sister?" Truth be told, Alexis has a wider vocal range than Tatiana & better clean vocals, as well; in my humble opinion…I always recommend them on other channels, but no response…If it isn’t Jinjer or Spirtbox they completely dismiss other possibilities.The Agonist is another band these channels seen to reject & I just don’t understand the rationale behind it…I guess, not many open minded fans, when it comes to musical variety…At any rate, It’s their loss…It’s so unfair to those phenomenal bands…Where’s their well earned credit???
