Ahh it’s similar to chat gpt when you ask it for code that’s a bit more complex and you tell it specifically what it got wrong and it’s like “Yes you are correct, let me fix that” and it returns the same code or something worst and it’s just a never ending cycle although for Devin it seemed like it got it at some point

I recommend you to study how to use a LM (IA) because it's totaly normal for them to have this kind of comportement. You have to learn about the prompt structure (GRADES, ROSES, SPIDER, etc.) that you could find on prompt cheat sheet and also learn to clean your old data at each changement of component, it need to be reset OR you have to install 3th party like mem-gpt to upgrade chat gpt memory and stuff like that

Yup it’s literally just running on the command prompt so it sees all the errors and using rag to get information from the internet, to fix those errors, it is literally the same as pasting your problem into bing ai with bing search.

@@AbdulGiwa well, how should i say. It's not like it's irrelevant to nikola tesla himself. The nikola i mentioned here is a truck company founded by Trevor Milton. Trevor and his company proclaimed he successfully created a hydrogen truck, which would be a revolution to transportation industry. However it was a scam, he never delivered it. To trick the investors, he created a fake prototype and connect it with electricity throw wire. He also made a video of the truck running on road, but in reality the truck was pulled up to a hill and let it rolled down. In the end, the jigg was up, trevor was arrested, people realised he was just sucking money to establishing his lifestyle while making no attempt to make the truck works. I have to mention that this nikola company is different from tesla one founded by elon musk. Nikola was found quite a while after tesla was, but to make a fuse trevor even sueing tesla for trademark, ofc this was just pr move, there is no way it would work.

Anybody who has ever used GPT or Co-pilot should have immediately seen through Devin. LLMs suck ass at writing code. I distinctly remember GPT repeatedly insisting I use a React library that literally does not exist.
