LOL this song was originally written and recorded 50 years ago! In 1973! Tony! Toni! Tone! in the 90s were not the first. This old song from 1973 was by a British singer/songwriter named Albert Hammond you can find here on KZbin. I hated it back then but this version - WOW. The 70s was a magic time for R&B with Stevie, Chaka, Marvin, Luther, Isley Brothers, E,W&F, Stylistics, etc. and Devin connects to all that. I'm 75 years old but still just a soulful street kid from Philly. Hard to believe this is the same song from 73. Amazing job by the incredibly talented Devin Morrison! Don't miss his "Bussin" album and his Dreamsoul music.
