A wonderful masterpiece! When I first heard it, I thought it was about ass😂. But when you really analyze the lyrics, you realize it’s about money. Yamz, in this scenario, represents money. They don’t want to be broke or stuck in the loop of poverty for life, so they are willing to learn how to get their money up, at any cost, and be released from the shackles of Uncle Sam.

I’ve lost count of how many times I’ve watched this video for “Yamz.” I am absolutely obsessed with both the song and video. The scene of everyone at the dinner table laughing and enjoying the food and each other is especially important for me. It reminds me of my dearly departed Nana and all the special times my family shared at her kitchen and dining room tables. Thanks to Masego for helping me keep those precious memories alive.

This is a smooth jam here I heard it when Masego first put it out. The title got my attention, and I was hooked on it. I think he was underrated but this song is blowing him up. He kills it on that saxophone! It definitely takes you back to the 90's. Music was so pure then. Way to go, Masego!

Those are Fender Rhodes Synthesizers. Which was used by a lot of jazz artists from the 80s and 90s. George Duke was the king of this instrument. Mint Condition used it also.
