This guy is beyond prolific. I'll never forget buying the 1993 Vai album with Devin singing. He has literally never stopped working on something or another since. Endless respect.

That song in the background when he's talking about the tour bus around the 3:30 mark. I've never heard that one before and It's gorgeous

9:54 Devin talks about intimate, physical relationships and then there is David and Mike, looking at each other with compassion. All hail the video editor!

Devs' comments around the 9.40 + mark are exceedingly wise & cover an area that many many bands (& other groups of people, paid or unpaid) fail to look at. How many times in life have so many of us been in what could kindly be called a conflict situation with people we are meant to get on with, purely because one side or the other (or indeed both) are unable, or unwilling o give tolerance to the other party's way of living. Dev is a man wise beyond his years.

The only man that can bring me to yet another existential crisis but this time I’m ok with it.

And intelligently and compassionately talk those issues out and communicate, and not be afraid to communicate. That is so important. 🤍

If you've ever wondered about the inspiration for the Ziltoid album(s), here you go: kzbin.info/www/bejne/n3qWmn-HYtZ3p8U As far as I know he's never came out and admitted as much, but Devin grew up in Canada in the 1980s and SCTV (Second City Television) was huge there (and in the U.S.), the similarities cannot be a coincidence.
