@@heavymetalrybakina So I've listened to the album twice now. And I can safely say that it is a GREAT album, I love everything about it. But it's not my favorite album so far. That had to go to 'The Spell' by Cellar Darling. Both albums are absolutely mind blowing, incredibly fresh, inspired, focused around a theme (a similar theme at that), and feature some of the best vocal performances of the year by far. They approach all of these things from different angles though, Cellar Darling is much more dark, atmospheric, and brooding which appeals to me more than the upbeat tranquil nature of Devin's record, even though both are absolutely wonderful and deserve to have recognition, I'm just more partial to a darker form of prog. That's why I love Opeth and Tool, lol.

It sounds like his musical output for the new material and the anticipation for it has become so unbelievably mind blowing that it has created a dimensional hole in time and we are actually seeing a very near future Dev presenting a new song as if it was gonna be played much much sooner. @@Qwerty-ks8dn how long a song does not really mean dull or not... not much difference if there is a song separator silence 1 sec long or not... as long as the song contains new parts. (well the popular crap my brother listen to would get dull in 4 bars but the song lasts 4 minutes of those repeated bars...) so in reality it is all about if the music creator has talent in making music or not for if a long song gets boring or dull. (think of it this way, if you can listen to an album that is 1 hour long, 1/3 of that album surely did not get dull.)
