This was written by Jeph Loeb who went on to be an extremely successful comic book writer in the late 90s and early 2000s and wrote the TV show 'Heroes' which used many story elements from classic comments like someone finally meeting their birth mother and when they ask for a photo of their father she hands them 'Time' magazine's Man of the Year because their father is the president.

I remember reading that Arnold had to explain to the director that the tree in his opening scene needed to be fake because he couldn't actually lift and carry a real tree like that. I think that he also had to explain that he couldn't actually lift Sully one-handed by the ankle, either. 😅

Kinda disappointed, I was waiting for your reaction to "I let him go" 😆, but great video as per usual. The Machine Gun that Arnie picked up was an M60E3, same gun Stallone uses in RAMBO: First Blood Part 2, released the same year as COMMANDO. One scene I love from this film is after he paddles to shore and he's getting ready to go with the steel drums going overtime, it's the best preparation montage I have ever seen in a movie; and always gets a rise out of me... not like that! Grow up... 😛
