Everything was cool, and I was beginning to think the guy was ok. I was always curious about the Catholic Church using the term father instead of pastor or whatever, since as I read it, the Bible says call NO man father. Then, here comes “we’re open to everyone.” I can see not kicking someone out the door because they’re gay, if they’re there to hear the legitimate true Word of the one true God. But, the pastor or Tim, Tom, whatever his name was is also gay, and he thinks he’s properly interpreting the Bible? I don’t think so. It’s not a misinterpretation, or a different translation. It’s believing the parts that don’t interfere with your lifestyle. I don’t always agree with Jesse, but I’m right with him on this one. If God’s cool with this lifestyle, what was the deal with Sodom and Gomorrah? I’m pretty sure at least part of evil they were into had to do with homosexuality. Remember when the angels were at Lot’s house and the guys came around demanding he send them out so they could do their thing with them? These things come to mind. Professing to be wise they became fools. And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a debased mind, to do those things which are not fitting; being filled with all unrighteousness, sexual immorality, wickedness… Romans 1:27 Not to mention teachers will be held to a higher standard than the congregation. I would not want to be in the position of explaining to God how He was wrong about the whole gay thing. He doesn’t need to worry about my opinion or your opinion, but when you get in front of people who are (hopefully) seeking the truth of the one true God, and they are deliberately misled. This guy has to know he’s not preaching the Word of God. He seemed like a believer at first, but I should have known. If he’s on with Jesse, there’s something going on that needs to see some sunlight. A person who deliberately not only alters the Word to make himself feel like he’s being a good Christian, but then knowingly teaches error to others who seek the truth. I’m sorry if I repeat myself but I’m stunned by the audacity of people like this. You can fool other people, but nothing gets past God. If you truly believe in God, and you’re not afraid of someone who can divide the spirit from the soul, which I don’t fully understand, but want absolutely no part of. I’m going to pray for him. Otherwise, I hope he likes really warm places with the strong smell of sulfur - eternally. Get thyself away from me. Wow

Let me clarify something for the audience. Priests are typically Catholic, there are no such thing as gay priests because you cannot be ordained and be gay. As soon as you break that covenant whether anybody is on to or not, you are no longer a priest in the eyes of Church. I can put on a police officer uniform and pull people over but that doesn't make me a police officer. In . Your congregation or maybe people like your peers might find out you're a closet queer or openly gay in your church and turn their head the other way. You're still not a priest in the eyes of God.

Besides, The Episcopal Church describes itself as "Protestant, yet Catholic"and claims apostolic succession, tracing its bishops back to the apostles via holy orders. The most recent Pope came out in favor for civil unions for lbgtq couples, which, like other concessions and progressive compromises of biblical teachings in the past, it leads to more, which will be acceptance of lbgtq marriages on par with tradition marriage. There’s already numerous openly gay priests in the Catholic Church. It has a history of gay priests that retire after a video comes out of them confessing to living in sin or showing them in the act. The thing is, it wasn’t a secret to their parishioners, their bishops (some are openly gay), archbishops (some of them are openly gay as well) and even the pope. As soon as it’s public, oh, they have to step down. We wouldn’t want our treasure chest, I mean, donors, I mean Catholic Church at large, knowing we allow priests to live in sin and become more and more liberal and progressive when it comes to our beliefs about the gospel and Scripture. They way the Catholic Church has been going throughout history, one of these days, there will be an openly gay Pope living openly with his husband and two transgender children. Just wait. Catholic or Protestant, living in sin not biblical and especially leading others while living in sin is the blind leading the blind and anyone who does will be judged accordingly for it.
