Meagan was and still is my inspiration when I started my waiting journey back in 2016. Although I struggled at first, God has taken me to a whole new level where I now know who my future husband is. The waiting is hard, but all we gotta do is trust in the One who has it all under control. Following His instruction almost felt surreal but I did what He told me to do and me and the man connected on Facebook and then exchanged numbers. Although we are currently not really talking, I wait with faith because the journey has already begun and I know God is doing something in both our lives. Very soon we will be together regardless of the fact that he's in another country.

I broke off a 3 year relationship, then decided i wanted to stay by myself for a while. After 8 years of not being in a relationship, I got into a 'kind of relationship ' with a sweetheart of a guy, (who I had known for over 30 years, but just as a casual friend). He pursued me for years, but I didn't go for him. Finally, I went for him. One day, I asked him, 'Hey, do you have a girlfriend or woman in your life?'' To my horror he responded, 'but of course '. Not yes, but 'of course' I was horrified. Long story short, I had surgery, and he took care of me like a baby. I'm not a cheater at heart, and knew this was wrong. Finally, I broke it off. I told him, I needed to remove myself from the relationship, in order for God to bless me. In as much as he pursued me, for 8 months after, I stayed away from him. Two of my friends started telling me, write exactly what I want in life, on a piece of paper, light a candle and pray, reading my words out. They told me to be very specific, write every little, and all details. Well, I decided to write about wanting my perfect guy. On the paper I wrote, ( I wanted him to never have been married, love his mom unconditionally, never had children, be financially successful, have a house, be the most trustworthy man my heart desired, I wanted him to be Caucasian (I am black), I wanted him to love me with the love I was looking for, and (get this), I wrote down the company I wanted him to be working for.😶 I met a man online, he pursued me, I kept trying to run from him, because I thought he was fake and lying. Finally, he convinced me to meet him. I thought he was the ax murderer😯 Now we're in a relationship one year and nine months in. Thank you Jehovah, the best, kindest, thoughtful, trusting, generous, sweetest man I've ever come across. Guess what, he is everything (and more) that I wrote on that list. He's 6 years younger than me (which I fussed about, but he convinced me that at 58 plus years, I needed a man his age, not older) I'm 60 now, yes 60, and this is the absolute best I have gotten.
