@@nathantalks3300i wouldnt really call it vaporwave. its way more like plunderphonics (since i left you by the avalanches is a great example of an album within the genre) and he took huuuge inspiration from it as well. its def not vaporwave imo bc of how it works the samples and merges a lot of them together feeling so different, so im not rly sure why everyone thinks of it to be vaporwave

this was recorded in 2007-2009, i wouldnt be surprised if peggy has been making his own kind of music ever since he started, tbh it sounds like The Avalanches and kanye (theavalanches was before jpegmafia) to his peer musicians, maybe he was inspired by their fantastic sampling chops, for the most part jpegmafia is the type to be inspired by anything or anyone so i dont think it really matters but the awesome music. He had and still have a good eyes and ears for aesthetics
