Nice board, other than being a twin, what are the specs? My go to is a 6 foot 2, ride as a twin, nice n loose. Also my 7 foot 8 I ride as a twin, I can throw it around as my short board. I believe people can get tied up in marketing, ride what suits you.

The older ci mid looks much more easy to ride and turn..this twin..well..I don't see him moving with a lot of flow..

it is a twin fin so it has less hold not having the center fin and side bites (not as much pivot). devon has to nurse his turns more, definitely agree with you on this just wanted to share my piece

It's really a good point. I ordered a ci mid in 2020 when they first came out, and it really did change my surfing. That said, I worked with my local on making a twinnie a few months ago, hybrid mid-length/short in-between. (6'6" and kinda narrow with a swallow. honestly looks more like a gun) and it's just new and exciting/fun to me. I love that release feeling when my fins drift, even if it means I'm losing momentum. Kinda says to me that surfing isn't always about what looks good, but what feels good. I can see when his fins release and because I know that feeling, this looks really fun to me.

Kat' I had to immediately (as in: right NOW) search that stick, and closest was CI Mid 7'2" trip so am blown out that it's a duce! Frickin' Mako without the thresher skeg!!?? OMG!!! Background: irrelevant in substance hahhahahaa but truly, 'way olde school'-flat bottom background thus incredulous and I mean absolutely incredulous perspective of anti gravity/fluid motion. Did I mention momentum crushing G-force manipulation? Never imagined this....in 50 yrs....never.... (from shaping ideas-bottom rails/lams/radii/blank/stringer....this in the hands of your rider IS an anti gravity machine) No way.... YES way... *My search results show 20 yrs relationship with Devon & CI regards to this stick. No words to describe these.......... Whoa... ------- Cheers!
