I thought the same thing. I saw the transition to press from Pavlo and was thinking "Oh, it's not over!", and Devon very fluidly transitioned himself during the "Read it, read it, read it". Seemed to have immediately gone to full cup and very quickly got behind his shoulder - needed to move his entire body very quickly, faster than Pavlo's press for it to work. If anything that's maybe how he protects against Kamil's press? Good practice for it.

Pavlo's main issue is endurance and stamina. Strength-wise, he is definitely up there at the EvW Stage level but his stamina sucks. He is most dangerous in Round 1 and can trouble almost anyone. Round 2 he is still dangerous but by Round 3, his gas tank is depleted. Which is why someone like Devon is a bad match-up for him. Pavlo kinda reminds me of Genadi except that Genadi has a lot more table IQ, techniques and stamina.

@@silvio5266 If you look/analyse closely you see that in round one, after the first serge devons pronation went back more and more, and Devon is VERY pronation based on his left so he lost hand control and thats when Pavlo could take over. Once you lost pronation you are not getting it back, unlesss... you do what devon did. Hard Kingsmove but ht kingsmove gained his pronation back but was illegal. He was under the table on his B side defensive position. In WAF thats illegal. But htese rules were not as strict cause its more for fun. But Devon lost everyhting in round one. He regained it the later rounds
