Great video mate, we go to Devon and Dorset quite a bit and it is hard work. However, if you fish the Devon beaches at night, you do catch. I have had red mullet and whiting off the princess pier. Also try around exmouth, and fish at beach at Budleigh Salterton. Parking right next to it, nice and clean on the bottom too. Fished at night, had doggies, bass and also lost a ray. Chesil is the same night time is best. Caught my pb smoothound, codling and plenty of strap congers. This was last year, and will back at Chesil in July. You are right. Norfolk and Suffolk beaches are much more fun, and yes would have to pop up for a social fishing session with you lot at some point. Can see it being a great laugh.

Might just take you up on your offer m8. Used to go to Caister every summer with the family camping. Always used to catch some good Flatfish off Caister beach. Cheers Paul 👍🎣🎣

Yes, that high ground is a tackle graveyard unless you can clear 100 yards. The area to bottom left of the point is clean ground though and safe.

I’d suggest you get some fish and chips, but the fish would probably fall off!

We watch your channel because you’re a great bloke and always entertaining to watch mate, doesn’t matter if you blank or not, you’re sound as a pound mate and a good beach angler 👍

Like your videos Dave…..think you were had over with that location. Hopes nose sounds like no hope, maybe the locals are keeping the holiday makers away from their good spots!

Yeah don’t blame them with how over fished it is down there..

Great video Dave and I feel your pain. Lovely location but difficult if you are not given the correct information as to where to fish. You would think the local tackle shop would be more helpful. I like you are always pleased to share knowledge of local hotspots although nothing is guaranteed with fishing. Keep going Dave your luck will change. There are some strange people in the world (tossers for short!). You need to come to southeast Kent, deal Dover and Thanet beaches fish well at this time of year on the right tides. Keep going and take a deep breath and enjoy the views with a couple of beers. Dave broadstairs Kent

👋Dave & Crew....I hope when you read up you will see that we all think your a great guy who loves nothing more than keeping fishing alive. Its a great sport & hobby but sometimes when we blank it makes us more determined to switch things up or change rigs ect ...ect . Its good to try different places, speak to other people fishing. We watch your videos because you are very entertaining & honest! Have hope that you will catch some fish today, be positive my friend 👍 I'm praying you all will🙏🏼

Tbf thags a great effort i feel the same as you bud there are some cracking places to gonfishing down south but unfortunately the locals really dont want to help its just blatant and a realy shane they have to be like that but you boys gave it ago. All the best mate tight lines 🎣🎣🎣

You think the locals aren’t helping you out. They won’t now! They’ll be outside your caravan tonight with their long shaggy beards, singing sea shanties and carrying torches and pitchforks.

The fishing is hard down here at the moment.trouble is you fish a spot and and post a video it, you will find it netted the next day. That's one reason to keep a mark quiet. The mark at babbacombe you pointed out is known as fishemans point, it can be good for mackerel but no better than the pier you fished.fishing on the side of the pier and especially on a dropping tide is virtually a waste of time it's a rising tide venue.Hopes nose is a reasonable venue but its a bit of a specialist place to fish. You were obviously getting stuck in the notorious reef that runs through the area. Most of the serious anglers from this area head to chesil or the Bristol channel.

Maybe do some research before you leave.. fancy going to a rock mark and not expecting it to be rough ground..

Very painful to watch, you haven't got a clue. I always catch when I go there always. 🤷🏼♂️ Clueless
@l.r.sfishing40115 ай бұрын
If that's the case, why don't you shair what you do to catch all the time and help people out. Might make it a bit easier for the lads instead of calling them names and criticising them for there efforts!!

@Whiteandpolite21 Yeah, fair enough, but a few tips and a couple of places that are actually going to produce fish would be nice the lads live like 362 miles away from that area so a bit of help would of off been really appreciated.
