The name “Creek” throws me. In NOLA there’s canals, rivers, and bayou. Never heard the term creek until we moved to West Virginia. Miss the south 😔 Love this build this far, you’re my favorite builder.

Random fact of the day, raccoons are the Tennessee state animal. Don't know why that's a thing, but there it is. Also, New Orleans has a pretty high crime rate, so that parking area makes perfect sense. 🥰
@MeganHaun133 жыл бұрын
I’ve lived in Tennessee my entire 23 years of life, and I’m almost positive I didn’t know that. Makes sense, you can expect to find one near any dumpster or out door garbage can.

yes, raccoons are everywhere in north america (even major cities!) 🦝 they love to get into our trash, take over our decks, and try to get inside our houses 😂 we had some scratching on the side of the house at night for weeks trying to get in my parents bedroom a couple years ago … they’re lucky they’re so cute 🥰

My aunt had a skunk as a pet when she was in her early 20s. She says to this day it was the best pet she's ever had but she only had it because it couldn't be released back to the wild (and they took away its ability to make stinkyness).

i think it might be nice to add a bit of a fancier glass roof into the middle of the tin roof? it would make it a little fancier but it would also be amazing to sit under the glass on a humid & rainy day
@MeganHaun133 жыл бұрын
I love raccoons. They look like little robbers. I live in the state of Tennessee, and raccoons are our state animal. Usually if there’s dumpsters or outdoor trash cans, you can expect to find at least 1 sometime during a 24 hour period lol. We’ve been having to leave our garage door open for the past month, and one’s taken up residency in there somewhere.

The kids play area is cute, but I’m pretty sure kids aren’t allowed to spon on bar/lounge lots, even if it’s a karaoke bar. Like if you have them in your family you might be able to bring them, but otherwise kids don’t show up at bars in the sims. Which makes sense since in the real world you can’t take kids in bars (it sucked visiting New Orleans at age 20. Couldn’t go into most restaurants in the main part because you had to be 21) It is cute, but feels impractical given those limitations.

I went camping recently and had a raccoon get into my food and steal some pancakes. I was so very disappointed. We get racoons in places that are more woodsy. The town I live in Kansas doesn't have a lot of large groupings of trees so we actually get more opossums than we do raccoons
