You have one job and that's to cover approx. 20% of the field and you know the offensive capability of the QB you are facing. (His pro's and con's) you seldom have to tackle and you have the added benefit of knowing there is usually a strong safety or weak safety to help you out. No way is there a comparison between playing QB and Corner in terms of toughest or value.
@jacorianpruitt64913 жыл бұрын
@@AlwaysHalloween000 you’ve never played corner before and it shows. Formations change obligations, same with base coverages. If you have a 0 blitz called and the offense is in heavy set with 1 WR. You’re covering how much of the field now.. like 80, 90% you don’t always have help. NFL teams play man well over 50% of times bc nfl qb’s no matter how good or bad shred zone defenses. The colts are a C2 based zone team and still have to run a shit ton of man otherwise it’d be a joke of a defense. Everything is a reaction. I’ve played both. Qb is a hellafied mental game and Physical one and it’s not even close to the responsibilities CB has. Not at all. And you forget “safety help” isn’t just a “I got you bro” they still have to worry about playing their own deep 3rd of the field, dividers etc..

He has played with different quarterbacks and he’s like Randy when the quarterback throws the ball up he goes up high to avoid an interception and get it with defenders on him like Moss would do. He’s a deep threat and his ability to get additional yards after the catch and his field awareness to make sure to get the toe tap in to complete the passing play. Both are dynamic receivers were and will be drafted in the 1st rounds. Both have set records at their positions but Devonta has to show what he can do at the professional level. @AllGTG I understand, but if he’s 90% or better I would like him to play. Yes it’s obvious that we’re the best team in CFB but I don’t wanna take any chances. I mean this is the National Championship we’re talking about here, not just some regular game.

@AllGTG and yes I care about Waddle’s future in the NFL but he would make life so easier if he was just out there on the field lol. we would win easily for sure

This man is built DIFFERENT. Superior reaction time, very intelligent, elite hand speed, he's the type that could play almost any sport at a high level.
