Lol no he didn’t he had less production than waddle, he had 483 yards and 4 touchdowns before waddle got hurt. If waddle was healthy I’m pretty sure they would have cancel each other out and Mac probably would have won the Heisman. Credit to Smith tho for putting up those numbers while he was the focal point of the offense. Both will be great players but with Smith you are getting a more polished WR while with Waddle you are getting more of a dynamic receiver.

Waddle only played 4 games before getting injured. Waddle was averaging 139 (w a low of 120). Smith was averaging 120. Ur including the Tennessee game where Waddle got injured on the opening kickoff. And the NC game where Waddle played while still injured, and honestly should not have been playin.
