@@ojdidntdoit76 bro I’m just saying both players are great, I like both of them. You said Devonta had more yards in those 6 games than Jaylen Waddle but that is incorrect man, Waddle had more yards than Smith at that time, all I’m saying is to not be diminishing Waddles greatness. In terms of overall receiver Smith is better because his route running is more polished and his hands are great. In my opinion Waddle has more upside tho.

Waddle only played 4 games before getting injured. Waddle was averaging 139 (w a low of 120). Smith was averaging 120. Ur including the Tennessee game where Waddle got injured on the opening kickoff. And the NC game where Waddle played while still injured, and honestly should not have been playin. He was hobbling around out there (pros/experts were going crazy on Twitter that Saban should take him out).

I like his honesty, very humble guy. Once Waddle got injured, I knew DeVonta was going to have a breakout year. He was the second best receiver on the team. When he was surrounded by guys like Jeudy, Ruggs, and Waddle, he never did get the shine like they did. But when the game was on the line, he was the one that was making plays.

Its funny because chase Jefferson and Marshall all played in 2019 and chase and Jefferson both had biletnikoff caliber seasons if not approaching heisman caliber.

What was the distance? It matters because sprinters have different ranges. DeVonta would kill them all running anything 400m and up vs. Waddle be be the best short distance sprinter 40m and 60m. Henry would best at 100m and 200m.

God made the way for these young men. If Waddle would have played he wouldn't have won heisman or been drafted where he was. It was blessing in disguise because Waddle still got drafted higher and is about to get PAID!
