Devotion really REALLY Does fit Jingliu's story to be honest. It's probably because Jingliu's Voice is eeriely calming, a bit wornout, but also strong willed at the same time, which fits the song's vibe. The other side of the coin, has shown Jingliu with crazy amount of resolve to her "HATE" towards someone,so much so it's keeping her from not only going full Mara-struck, but also dedicated enough to continue her dedication her to sword mastery skills. So the lyric "Undying Devotion Cuts me Open" more or less Summarizes her to a tee.
