Underwhelming, the og rarely picked phoveus had a good unique role as a counter to dash heroes (if esme is banned) greatly limiting their movement but now I dont really see how he can do that anymore. Moonton really wants that assasin jungler meta back

@@oyshrimp For me, I kinda like Physical Phoveus, because most of Physical Items often had Spell Vamp in it, as well as CDR, and he can also benefit with Thunderbelt for Extra Defense and Sustain. Problem lies on how insane his damage was before, but for me, I am still curious on how to build him in Physical....

@@RTONL Agree, and remember how good is War Axe now. For how to build him in Physical, I suggest 1 attack item, and the rest go defense: War Axe, Boots, Dominance Ice, Queen's Wings, Brute Force Breastplate and Oracle. If you want Thunder Belt, maybe build it first and remove Oracle in your build. Or maybe use Dominance Ice depends on situation. Or maybe sell boots in late game.

Here is my thought on phoveus, make it so his 1st and 2nd skill mark an enemy and if a marked enemy dashs, blink or is displaced he gains a charge of demonic force (his ult) which last for 6secs and stacks up to 4 time, he can use the demonic force on any marked enemy.

Hoh, you're on to something. I'll submit this to our community and then the devs after I receive feedback from the community. This suggestion is far more intriguing than the other comments people suggest. But still, I also do prefer having the old ult trigger condition back, this is the best alternative I've seen so far if they do not want to return it. Thank you for the suggestion.

He will be unbalanced since his ult is no cd unlike before. That also means that if he ult enemies can no longer counter him by not dashing and waiting out the duration of his ult since his newulti has no cd and duration neededd to be recast

Tell you what, maybe every time a hero dashes, his passive activates allowing to mark them with basic attacks, meaning Phoveus won’t spam his ult unless he sneaks in a passive punch in between.

Moonton is really cautious of Revamped Phoveus by not adding too much or removing some of his skill features. They could just combine both of his old and new mechanincs of anti dash. No need for remodel.

I bet the developer in charge of "Balancing" was using wanwan in ranked and got rekt by a phoveus, thats why he made it so that the ult is no longer instant The whole balancing team are wanwan mains

It is also a problem with Mobility Heroes, but if I am being honest, it can still counter those blink heroes by pushing them. But yeah, it is different from before, due to balancing. The idea for his passive to lessen his own cooldown when there is a dash is amazing, but his passive still need some tweaking. I had no problem with his Ultimate because if you compare it to the Original Server, his Ultimate had a time limit, but here, he had none, which is OP if they considered it using it in blink heroes like Wanwan. I don't want to risk his animation being slower just for it to be activated by a dash.

Just make it do that the ultimate can chase both non-dashing and dashing targets, you did the first part, just do the second, it aint that complicated. Add some CD on the ult as a way to balance it.

Retain the original/current version, only the 2nd skill need changes. We don't need this. The long chase of ultimate in the current version is what makes Phoveus scary

Thats a good adjustment considering his skills animation is somewhat slow while keeping his uniqueness but works differently. At this point I have a wild guess that in game the main base have 50% when there is 2 inner turret 25% on 1 turret damage reduction and full damage when all turrets destroyed that way the objective of clearing all turrets would be mandatory and avoid any backdoor plays early.

Well, you got a point... I was wondering about the 2nd outer turret and what its role is all about honestly. The 1st outer turret had gold plating which if you destroy it in first 5 mins, you will have gold, and the inner turret had a special function in which it will release an energy wave, clearing all minions. I wish they will add some functions for the 2nd Turret and Base, as well as Yi-Sun-Shin's Base for a bit of fun in the game.

If they want to keep this design, my suggestions are: 1. Faster animation for 2nd skill so that he isint just a 2nd terizla. 2. Faster pull from 2nd phase of 1st skill for higher ult trigger chance. 3. Increase base damage of all his skills by 100~300 or instead increase damage scaling so it can be on par with his magic counterpart. 4. 100% spellvamp ratio because it makes no sense why they make his spellvamp ratio 50% 5. Shorten passive cd to 5 sec and make it regen 3~6% hp instead because shield dosent benefit from defense. 6. 30~50% damage reduction and Cc immunity when ulting Because he could get killed mid air late game. 7. Ult slows enemies hit by 30% and grants him a short burst of movement speed so he can escape or chase enemies better. 8. Ult gains 15% phy pen per level up so that he does not need to waste item slot for pen item since it is easier to reduce physical damage than magic 9. Dashes from enemies reduces passive cd by 1 s.

How about if you add a push effect (in ult) when he crashes on his enemy which triggers ult again. Then make an ult's duration. And the rest of the ult activation condition remains the same. I think phoveus just needs something to keep his ult activated. Like we have cc in arlott which helps him to keep using his second skill.

Phoveus still good tho without this changes. They just need to reduce the cooldown like argus and he’s good to go. Built it using fighter emblem, use that support shoes, FOB, and impure rage. Build it fortitudeboots, dominance, icequeen, oracle, immortal, and two others up to you (wether you be tanky or mage issokay, but i prefer tanky for teamfight). But in late game poveus will deal a hard time on clearing minions. He is early to mid game hero and u should put early preassure on the enemies. Make sure you clear fast while hitting the enemy to make that bouncing passive and shield activates. Use vengange to def at big teamfight, first skill to sustain, ult to chase, and first skill with ice queen to chase. For me, his passive shield and first skill are the main damage, not his ult cause my playstyle is poke and chase. Retreat when you chase too far

Many complains that he needs to get his instant ulti like before but do they forget that it has long cd unlike now that it has not?. While dash from enimes cannot trigger his ulti. But since it can lower his other skill cd. He can spam them and all of them are cc skill making him quite annoying. Any more than this and he will be perma banned. An increase in his survivability might be good but a complet unlock of his ulimate is too much since it is already an unli ulti

original phoveus is still stronger, he can go in and out with skill 1 because it gives movement speed and shield, this revamp is very bad and the gameplay is too complicated
