I currently trying to get my social media content back to mostly be displayed in a chronological order. On KZbin, disabling the recording of the history of videos you've watched helps pretty well with that. Otherwise, this is one aspect I really like about Mastodon, which is also using a chronological timeline. I think it is pretty nice to have more control about your feed, but of course it also demanding more from you as a user to curate your feed yourself. Also, the discovery of new content is of course a bit restrained this way - however, you could also argue that you discover new stuff more organically this way again.
