I started with the 12v makita line just because it was more affordable for me back then, my wife gifted me my first 20v dewalts and I still gravitate to my 12vs for quick jobs just because of their size. But for drilling into cement, the 18V line is a godsend :D

I use this in my service bag for light duty, excellent drill. Have a bigger drill for install projects. The 12v line is awesome, I love it and I’m not a dewalt fan. Makita is my all time favorite.

I like the 12v as a small engine technician for the exact reason that it is less powerful, I can safely and confidentiality assemble and disassemble equipment without worrying about over torquing or snapping smaller fasteners and it's still way faster and less fatiguing than hand wrenching everything

Wich case fits the 12V ?

Great insight. Power above some threshold doesn't matter... really! I went overboard purchasing 20 V tools but they were extremely heavy for me and hard to maintain balance while working on weird spots. Of course, my 20V tools will remain in service to handle outdoor stuffs, but anything indoor related and even PC assembly... it will be 12V's job.

Why do these channels put “Dint buy until you watch this”. Like there’s some sort of defect we need to know about. You’re dishonest and misleading. I won’t be watching any more of your content.

I liked your audio opinion - mentioning very relevant points and to comparison the 12v to it's bigger brother- well done 🫡👍
