Nice portable air compressors that are cordless. I have a Porter Cable electric plug in pancake style air compressor that works great, that I much prefer over the cordless ones. It weighs around 25 pounds and it has a larger 3 gallon air tank than the cordless ones you demonstrated. With mine no need to worry about charging batteries because to charge the batteries requires an electrical source anyway. It only takes about 2 minutes to fill its 3 gallon air tank to 124 psi. I can unplug the power source and take it to the car to pump up tires or remove lug nuts easily. Mine cost a little over $100.00. It can still do the same things the cordless models can do. With a cordless air compressor, I would not feel confident runing a nail gun with. Be very careful with that Harbor Freight air impact gun. A classmate bought one of those for our automotive class at school. He was using it to rotate tires on a Ford F150 when it suddenly exploded in his face. He had to undergo 5 facial reconstructive surgeries and have 5 metal plates put in his skull and cheek bone to rebuild his face. The school paid for his hospital bills. Now the school will no longer allow students to use their own air tools in class anymore.

They actually have similar tank fill times, considering the dewalt tand is 25% bigger and its fill time is 25% longer.

For the battery install on the Milwaukee, you could turn the compressor on it's side, then the battery is a drop in style. I just bought the Milwaukee compressor today, 23-10-17, and now waiting for it to arrive. Thanks for the video.

Not fair on the impact wrench when you did the DeWalt it was missing two bars in the battery where the Milwaukee was full battery

Sounds like the Milwaukee needs wheels to cart it around. These are another item like the radio that would be nice to be able to plug in also and charge or just go portable with the battery. Would be cool if they came up with a system of interchangeable cords like cell phones.

It is a great design that there's a hood over the button on the DeWalt because when you're in constructions stuff fall on it the hose walking around the corner you can accidentally turn off the Milwaukee

Seems like the dewalt is the way to go. I personally couldn't justify the price of the Milwaukee for a portable compressor. Handy for filling flats etc but still a limited use item otherwise to me compared to a corded one. Did you buy one or just testing?

I've got the DeWalt and the Milwaukee is someone else that I borrowed for this video. The Milwaukee is really quite, which is nice, but for the price? Eh, I think I'd go with the DeWalt as well or in my case stick with the DeWalt.

I have to go with milwaukee not because I'm a wacky fan but im just too much invested in milwaukee already both m18 and m12 line. Dewalt compressor does look nice though and much more compact

I like the dewalt a lot cheaper and not bulky the Milwaukee is also hard to carry.
