12:38 Those graphite pads on the red board are extremely worn out. This same problem causes 'stick drifting' in game controllers. I wonder if they could be repaired using a defrost repair kit. They sell them in auto parts stores for fixing the rear defrost lines in cars.

Have you considered getting an ultrasonic parts cleaner? Particularly good for cleaning electronic parts. Switches don't necessarily need to be dismantled so long as they have some opening to allow the cleaning fluid to enter.

No, milwaukee changed the design and removed the spring. They have springs anymore so the battery contacts burn up faster

You know, a 3D printer should pump out those little silicone dust boots no problem. I'm certain I heard they can 3D print silicone now. It would probably add to cost but a 3D printer would be an investment to repairing these mostly plastic tools.

The manufacturer declares it in user manual, if not try search online. Any type of lithium based grease will do, but viscosity can depend on type of power tool.

Anyone know how to fix a loose anvil on one of these? I took it apart but didn't see much. The tool doesn't really owe me anything it is 6-7 years old. I did notice that the front nose housing is broken around the anvil. Not sure if that is what holds it tight? Thanks to anyone who replies.

How can anyone treat their power tools this way. My Milwaukee high torque is 1 year old, I use it everyday and I clean it at the end of everyday. It still looks brand new due to using Tub O Towels to clean them. Do not be lazy techs, those tools are your life line. There is ZERO excuse for this filth.
