Have you given any thought about getting a helical or spiral blade head for the D27300 ? Do you have any information on whether it is possible ? Thanks for the video and any input ! Regards

I do see suppliers on the internet for a spiral blade for the D27300, but I haven't thought about buying it. I'm interested in the smoothness that is achieved with these 44 carbide inserts. See: www.sheartak.com/spiral-cutterhead-dewalt-d27300-planer-thicknesser.

The Dewalt DW735 has got a blower built in to push the chips out and I've seen people just hook the outlet up to a collection bag without an added suction collector, has this machine got a blower fitted also if you were to use it without a collector?

The Dewalt D27300 does not have a chip ejection fan like the DW735 has. In the manual of the D27300 it is stated: 'Provided with a suitable dust extraction device, 90% of the produced shaving can be caught if the air flow is at least 20 m/s'. So it is clearly meant to have a proper dust collector system mounted to the 100m dust extraction port.
