Have not been able to get this tool to make a straight cut through anything larger than 1 inch PVC. every time it is at an angle no matter how well the tool is set up or how stable the use. The problem is is it’s a straight plunge cut, if they were able to add a gear to have an oscillating back-and-forth motion as it plunges, it would make a much straighter and cleaner cut,, but because it just plunges straight into the pipe it compresses and flexes the pipe before it starts to make the cut which then offsets the travel of the blade.

Christopher, I agree 100% one guy told me I didn’t know what I was doing with the tool that it works perfectly fine but I had the same issues you’re having no matter what I did the cuts would not come out straight ultimately I ended up returning the tool and did not keep that one. It was also very bulky and hard to set up all the time I didn’t feel like taking it on and off of my impact over and over again. It’s very unfortunate because I like the wall tools and most of them work pretty well. It’s a lot like the Dewalt framing nailer. The battery powered one. I had a lot of issues with that as well. It kept jamming. But supposedly the new version that just came out fixes most of those problems, we’ll see. Thank you for watching and thank you for the comment.

It really didn’t work all that great even on smaller pvc.

You made that look so difficult. Maybe don’t unbox and not know how to use the tool. It’s all so easy you took an extra 20 minutes to explain this simple tool. LMAO

Well it’s called an unboxing for a reason, if I unboxed it before hand the video wouldn’t be much of a true unboxing. I returned the tool because it was painful to attach and not very realistic for someone in the trades. I love dewalt but that is one tool I didn’t care for. It’s like their large led light, I own one and love it but I wish they had put a plug in on it like Milwaukee so you didn’t have to use just batteries without buying an adapter. Let me know when you get your tool review channel up so I can see how a pro does it.
