I have the one point 1.0. I bought a month ago. And I kicked around, throw it in the back of my car seat. I rolled over just anything. And I can pack 10 batteries, 3 drills, 1 router, 1 oscilatting tool, 1 16 ga finish nailer, 1 6 1/4" circular saw, 1 fastcharger, and 1 sawzall. So if you any complaints about this box. I think you should re evaluate yourself. Maybe yourself is the problem.

I am super stoked they took the tstack/versastack labels. Pry that little plastic cover off add your own tag and put the plastic back on....makes picking the right box out so much better and it easier to change, and less crap looking than a sharpie.

Thanks for the thorough review and especially for the title. Gotta say, I'm BEYOND Tired of seeing the same "Not what I expected" title for Tool reviews, over and over & over again! Btw, the 20% extra capacity of 2.0 is when all 3 boxes are combined, though it's mostly from the redesigned rolling box. The 1.0's are on deep discount right now (inc. the XL DS400) which there is no 2.0 equivalent for yet. Just a heads up for anyone needing to add some extra storage to their TS collections. Thanks✌

TB Ordered the 2.0 TS Tall Box you profiled last week. Since then someone commented that the new, full length hinge design holds rain water/morning dew and routes the water into the box when lid is opened. Can you run some water on the 2.0s to check it out? Thnx

He reviews all kinds of things and buys all the products with his own money so there all non biased and very comprehensive . Thought some might like to know about it. I know I should have said something I'll go to you on here boss I figured out a solution for the DS 450 for the latches it has a hole it looks like it will fit a self tapping screw with a washer nail with the latches and I should hold it in place so it doesn't move I did that to both my DS450 boxes no issues so if you still have the 1.0 that's one solution

Shawn Ding I hear you, but I get excited about anything new that comes out no matter who puts it out. New products cause other companies to be innovative and keeps the industry from becoming stagnant. The TS 1.0 was fine for its time, but Milwaukee innovated and changed the game with packout. In turn, DeWalt had to up the game with TS 2.0.

Hey Boss, I have to ask about something no other person has mention on any ToughSystem 2.0 review. On the Tough System 2.0 Small containers, is there enough room to fit any 2ah, 5ah, 3ah Li-On, FlexVolt, etc. Based off how I use my DS150 and my knowledge, on the DeWalt ToughSystem 1.0 DS130-DS150 you can fit 2x 2ah batteries in one of the small containers and a DCB115 charger in the other container as well.

After the new yellow laces were lunched, I buy them from spere parts and replaced one all my boxes, they should be free because the bad job they did, but I pay 7 £ a pair and change it, 20 pairs, was not that much. When the Packout was lunched in England, I did a comparison between DS450 and Milwaukee trolley box and I decided that Milwaukee is better, because of the boll bearings on the whales, but when the Toughsystem 2.0 was announced , finally I could complete my set, and M8 disappointment was bigger than expected. No boll bearings on the whales, no handler on the side of the box, handler to shoot to go safely down on the stairs, plastic thinner, so Toughsystem 2.0 ? Not so much.
@MrDINODINO743 жыл бұрын
... after you will put some tools and a couple of boxes on top of the trolley box you will se how the axel will bend and the wheels will imitate the tuning from the drift. cars 😊 . Before you put tools in , try the empty box going down on the stairs , because with tools it's a risk to injured yourself.

Depends on what you need. The pack out has more versatility with all the different types of boxes available. Dewalt is catching up, however , with the new things coming out . Dealt has the ds Carrier which miles better than the Milwaukee cart or even the new hand truck. Allows you to access boxes individually. Dewalt is priced way better and both have excellent quality. Don’t let the Milwaukee fanboys tell you differently. I have every box offered by dewalt, most boxes offered by Milwaukee even have a bunch from husky. If what you’re carrying is bigger tools or doing carpentry work or general contractor work then dewalt is where you want to be. Will cost you less for high quality boxes with great features and an excellent mounting system for both mobility (DS Carriers) and home storage (tough system wall mount). If you do electrical work or plumbing then Milwaukee will serve you better. The great options for smaller organization and clear tops make it way better for fittings and other small accessories used by electricians and plumbers.

@@isaacocasio3165 dewalt catching up? Really... lol .... that's the funniest thing I've heard in a week! I'd be more than happy to mail you both catalogs to bring you back to earth.

SKYGuy lol typical reply. Listen man you have your opinion which is clearly stuck on Milwaukee. That’s your preference. I spoke facts. Facts that can be backed up by product numbers and plenty of people that aren’t not mindless fanboys. Now, as a true fan of the industry I like both. Both have plenty to offer. I stand by my advice which comes from earth where I prioritize value over a name. Enjoy your night my friend.
