Dewalt vs Delta Scroll Saw Showdown

Do both scroll saws have a tip up arm? When you're doing fretwork, I know the dewalt.Does, but I don't know much about the delta

Just to add to that, the Dewalt arm won’t lock in the up position but the Delta will.

They are both very similar. They should be. Delta and DeWalt are both owned by mother company of Black & Decker. Both are good tools. The difference in price is the name brand. I got my Delta about over a year or so ago. I got it on sale on Amazon for $299. If you keep an eye on it, you will see the Delta will go on sale now and then.
