This zoning change has not been approved by the community yet requiring a 75% referendum. The majority of Dewees owners are dedicated to conservation and protection of our ecosystem. This is what they signed up for when they purchased their property, if they bothered to read their terms. Short/term renting is incompatible with our protective covenants, bylaws, land plan, ARB standards, and conservation easement, NR zoning.
