Gasper this was absolutely fascinating. I loved these two mining towns and enjoyed seeing around Dewey Humboldt with the carriages and walking around looking at the things for sale. Then the scenic drive to Mayer was so lovely with the things to see on the way like that lovely church and 1918 Bank but wow the story of Meyer had me gripped with Joe and how he founded the town and put so much time and money into it and built so many things like the hotel, dance floor, post office and then after the terrible tragedy happened he then put more money and time into rebuilding it including two schools for the miners children. Those miners there were very well looked after by Joe a rich man who cared for them. This is in complete contrast to slate miners who worked here in North Wales who were treated harshly by their rich bosses . Very tragic ending to his life though sadly. You told this story so well Gasper and I loved seeing all of the exhibits here and in Dewey Humboldt like the 1940 fire truck , the 1906 mine smelter, the carriages and the historic market store :) ~ Anna 👍

The 1st thing I love about Arizona is the gorgeous weather and eternal blue sky! I love the clean, uncrowded mining townships, which have successfully retained the old world charm. I love exploring the architectures, well preserved history and the unique landscape of the region, along with your excellent narration and interesting historical anecdotes. The old farm machinery and carriages are fascinating and the church on the way to Mayer is beautiful. Perfect background score! A big like 146👍🏻👍🏻 and best wishes from FLC Renaissance.

Great tour Gasper! I really enjoy learning about small town America and the history of the towns and people. It seems that Arizona was settled and built by lots of miners and the mining business. We’ve visited some ghost towns in CA and NV, which is interesting- it’s great that these towns are still alive and adapted to modern life, while still keeping their historic nature. 👍👍☀☀ It seems like it’s always sunny in Arizona!! 😄

Nice tour and information about the two gold mining towns, its people and their history👍. You would be surprised how similar they are to our 19th century gold mining town here in northern Australia in terms of town layout, mining history and rural equipment around the place. Great video Gasper and big like👍. Have a great day!

Loved this mining tour through Northern Arizona. So much history and heritage there. Gosh so many original artefacts. Snowfall in Arizona? Wow. Great music and narration. Yellowstone, 1893 and 1923 are my favourite shows so to hear about miners, prospectors and ranchers is fascinating! What an incredibly historically rich area this is. Mayer, please slow down and enjoy it! Love that, what a great greeting. Joe certainly left his mark! Loving the old signage, exceptionally well preserved. A fascinating tour 👍

Awesome tour Gasper! I loved the tour and listening to the history of these two towns. I especially liked the town of Mayer and enjoyed the history of how he built the town and cared so much for it. He suffered a tragic ending though. His life shouldn’t have ended that way😰
