Love the sound of a 300 2T! Fond memories of an ‘03 EXC!! Such a versatile weapon.

Your new TE 300 sounds real crisp. I have the same machine and ride really steep and narrow gnar in the PNW mountains. This new gen has a different transmission than the previous 2023 TE or TX. It can be described as a semi close ratio 6 speed. First gear is in between the 2023 TE and TX. There is no gap from 5th to 6th. The factory now uses this Pankl built box in all the full sized machines except the 150. For my uses I found that upping the rear sprocket from 45 tooth to 48 tooth brought the lower 3 gears closer together, giving me more useful gear choice and less clutch work in the steeps. The new stock chain is shorter, but looks like it could accommodate a 50 T if necessary. The new stiffer chassis coupled with the outstanding open chamber fork transform the bike. Now you can hold any line, it doesn’t deflect or bottom out. All without being harsh. This is the best woods bike ever, and I have owned many.

Nice run up MQ. That is a fun one at speed! Camera doesn’t do justice to some of the climbs and exposure. Must have been part of your 125 mile day to hit all the single track trails in one day! Super impressive!

@@Ride_Tekdo you have both? Been curious on how the 250 and 300 compare? Are they both pretty linear power or one snappier than the other? 250s seem to rev quicker. Just curious. Nice video!
