My first ride on the 2024 Husky TE300 didn't go as planned.

Beautiful video of some of Washington’s best. Your skills as a videographer complement your skills as a rider. Your videos allow others who will never ride there share the joy we find hidden in the mountains. That is a gift.

Appreciate the kind words - we're lucky to have such awesome, challenging terrain in our backyard. Oh and great people to ride and build with too!

Such a great bike. Absolutely love mine. First hour for me was exactly the same. Now every hour it just keeps on getting better! And how’s the scenery you have there! Wow!

You sure accomplished you goal!! The power valve never opened thru th whole video. That thing grunts and you were in the green map.
@WASemiHardEnduro8 ай бұрын
I'm finding that I prefer the green map all the time. It's more responsive and consistent, even if I'm just lugging around and never really getting on it. It's definitely spicier when you open it up though!

In that down hill decent the camera did not do that justice you can tell it was steeper than camera portrayed it 😮 awsome video

Trails looks awesome, and the bike sounds great! Love my 300 as well, and if you wanted the bike to lug even more at super low RPM adding a 7oz clutch weight helped mine in tight 2nd gear hard enduro trails . Im near Federal Way, and never seen these trails. By chance, and gps cord you can drop or mile marker to have another tight hard enduro place to ride? - This looks like Canada (love some Vedder or Maple ride riding) but if in WA this is legit!

I had a flywheel weight on my TPI, and it was nice, but not sure I'll put one on the TBI - it doesn't seem to need it :)

That looks incredible. I mean exhausting, but fun...tires must last a few seasons riding that terrain.

Now that you’ve had it on single track, how does it run compared to your remapped TPI? Just curious. Still love my ‘23 TE300 and wouldn’t get rid of it but would be cool to know if the new ones are that much better!
@WASemiHardEnduro8 ай бұрын
It’s pretty comparable to a well-mapped TPI, honestly. The biggest difference so far is the lug-ability. My TPI didn’t give a lot of warning before it would stall, but the TBI gives tons of warning, and it’ll pull out of a deep, low lug with throttle alone. My TPI needed just a bit of clutch. Power-wise, the TBI has a bit more low-end, but feels about the same above that.
@onthethrottle71048 ай бұрын
@@WASemiHardEnduro I've had times where I stall on super gnar but the motor comes back on somehow, like a fake stall. The KTM TBI is a complete game changer system. Get it tuned by TSP and you will be super super amazed at the lugging ability.

We were riding at 3000' elevation with barely any snow - it's usually April/May before we can go that high. Crazy low snow amounts this year.

@WASemiHardEnduro Aha! You mean you do a little doctoring during the editing process? Let me tell you, I have never seen one with this quality and high definition. Also, the ride itself was awesome! and I love your bike. I gotta say though, I have seen several brand new huskies that were blown up, straight off the stock room floor. I don't think that I myself would ever buy one just because of what I have seen from people who have owned em, but it is a beautiful bike! Keep on riding and posting those journeys. Definitely have a new subscriber!

Try hitting the gym and getting stronger in the legs and arms
@WASemiHardEnduro7 ай бұрын
For riding, endurance > outright strength; and core strength > beach muscles. Most pros specifically don’t train their arms much to avoid arm pump. So maybe stick to what you know.
