Now that's a passionate and knowledgable salesman. If I lived anywhere near this dealer I would want to buy from him.

You aren't lying. Lee was super knowledgeable on this bike. You wouldn't get any information like that from and shops from where I'm from. Congratulations on the new bike!

This dude knows his KTMs! My sales guys don’t know even 10% of what he does.

Lee, I have been keeping track of the fuel/2 cycle oil consumption in my 24 XC-W since new. After 10 gallons of fuel I calculated an average fuel/oil ratio of 96:1.

Lee is a good dude, bought a 350 from him after watching one of your earlier videos

Yes, he sure is. Thanks for watching and thanks for the comment! 👍

wow, great walk thru vid...I just ordered the Map switch for a 23 XC, so hopefully that is the same part number. Seems like several videos I am seeing, the idle is adjusted low, like mine was.
@Ride_Tek Жыл бұрын
It is the same part number. We checked. Glad the idle is easy to adjust on the new bikes vs. the TPI

Lee always does a great job on the walkthrough. Can’t wait to get up there and grab one of these from him! Thanks for the video.

Do you know the wattage draw of the new led headlight? Hoping to add a oem 24 headlight to my 23xc. I like the look and quality of the oem lights.

The headlight is the worst part of my 24. Can’t wait to replace that.

At 7:15 he says to make sure to adjust the throttle position sensor well before monkeying with the idle adjust screw. There is no mention in the manual about adjusting the throttle position sensor. What kind of adjustment can be done to the tps ?
@bakedandsteaked Жыл бұрын
Not a dirt bike guy at all so could be completely wrong here, but I know on some automobiles the TPS can be rotated. You want the sensor 0 position to match the actual throttle closed resting position. If the TPS is not positioned correctly it can throw off the idle or affect performance. For example, if the TPS is rotated such that it reads 5% while throttle is actually at 0, and the ECM is programmed to idle around 5% throttle, unless it can relearn, the throttle will be closed or at least more closed than it should be at idle and car will stall. Or, say actual throttle is at 5% open but sensor reads 0%. If ECM commands 5% throttle, you will get actual 10% throttle. So what I'm getting at is I think he means to make sure the sensor is positioned/calibrated correctly otherwise adjusting the idle via the adjust screw may not actually be solving the real issue with your idle. Edit: Also forgot to mention that some adjustable TPS housings are marked after calibration from the factory so that if the sensor is removed it can be clocked correctly upon reinstallation. These bikes might have something similar.
