Lots of great memories from all the visits during the whole of 1970’s at Nick’s Jazz Joint in Laren. Plus every 2nd Thursday with live-recorded radio broadcasts. In the States tapes were run on the PBS national radio. Saw Monty and his side-men several times, and as always with superb performances. Miss those exiting live-jazz days folks, with the best of the best visiting American Jazz Artists playing there hearts out! So Dig/Enjoy & Cheers!

Wow! Thanks for posting. Remember discovering Monty when I was first learning jazz way back in the early 80s.

@Deweycheatumnhowe2 I love your jazz videos so much! But you used to have an Edith Piaf documentary on your channel that I can't find anymore. 😢 I'd been looking for that video for years and I'd really appreciate if you could reupload it. Thank you in advance!!

Even though the order's a bit out of place on this listing relative to the recording, thanks for "Meet the Flintstones." I thought that had to be a joke. Alas . . .
