My seven year old was diagnosed with Type 1 on 12/15/2020. It’s been a crazy ride so far. We started using the Dexcom G6 in February, and we finally have our pump class tomorrow. Yay! This is the pump I keep coming back to when I research them. I told my little guy that this is the pump I would like to get for him and he was not ok with it at all... until he just watched a few of your videos with me tonight, and saw little miss wearing hers. We watched site changes too! He’s ok with it now. Thank you for sharing her journey! It helps him to see that he’s not the only kiddo with T1D. He also has skin issues and I agree, the expression med tapes are the best! He struggles with rashes from the adhesive residue too, so I’ll have to try that oil.

I've never used the adhesive lifter, my daughter might love that because she hates the ripping off the sensor part... So glad I watched this!

So I have used it a few times and following up with vitamin e oil and it works like a charm. My daughter is only 7 so I was concerned the lifter might irritate her skin, but so far no rashes or irritation.

you should use skin grip its cheat and it works for my son he 2yr old

Your daughter is so brave. My daughter is not ready to help me yet but I will try some of your tricks. She was diagnosed in April 2021.
