Question for next week: Why has it taken so long for these bottom 8 teams to start taking wins off the top 4? I’ve been a fan since IW and I know the lower teams tend to put it together at the end of the year because the game is more fundamentally understood; however, it comes across like the bottom teams don’t go 110% until champs qualification/ their jobs, are on the line.

i think the top teams just dont care anymore. standy said some of them aren’t even showing up to warm-up scrims. online cod means nothing to them when they’re already all but locked in to their champs seeding (with some spots being 100% locked) and they dont win any cash for winning these matches. there’s no reason for top teams to show their best online instead of saving it for lan, especially when points don’t really mean anything for them anymore. so i think it’s a mix of bottom teams figuring it out and top teams not giving a shit, but the top teams are still so much better that they’ll win 50/50 without really trying

i don’t think doors are inherently a problem, but being able to crack them can be. you should be able (imo) to hide behind a door and/or crouch walk through it to open it silently, but being able to peek adds too much fugaze to the game

Optic has always had the same issue no matter the squad… they play to their opponents. If they play a good team, 99% of the time they play well. If they play a poor team, 99% of the time they play poorly. The scores don’t show it every time, but just watch it through this lens.

Not how that works lmao. That logic wasn’t used for Toronto when they dominatly won major 1, then looked sloppy during the stage 2 online split losing to both faze and optic. The community rightly critiqued them and judged them by their current form. Now all of a sudden current form doesn’t matter and a team should be solely graded on their past tournament placing lmao.
