Next up is the Engineer so we start engineering our way to victory. While I'd prefer to just have 6 turrets for the sake of having 6 turrets, the game decides otherwise and doesn't want to give us a decent amount of Wrenches sadly. But at last, the turrets deal a surprising amount of damage.

So i just did this run myself, though I think my luck was a bit better, I just upgraded as much as I could, it feels as though they nerfed the blue quality wrench and buffed the hell out of the rest as well as the engineer itself. I just stood immobile in my forest of turrets for the last 5 rounds including the boss. the healing turrets which you couldn't find were healing for 8 and i had 3. Honestly your RNG just wasn't great on this run. But i think the takeaway was that all the turrets should go up asap and rerolling your money into finding wrenches is well worth it.

to be fair, the blue tier turret does what it is supposed to do. it takes care of low health enemies almost immideatly. and as with the normal flame thrower it is kand of a waste to have more than 1 of them. if dex had combined his turrets instead of keeping 3 flamers he would have had a much easier time especially against the mummies

The legendary screwdriver is actually pretty good. I tried doing a mine only run with the multitasker (before this update). It wasn't to bad actually. Just grabbed survivability stuff and kited enemies into mines. That build is never going to kill the bosses, but that's fine if you got tanky enough the small guys all blow up and you run around the edge.

If you're struggling to get the weapons you want, keep this in mind: waves 1-3 always stock 2 weapons minimum, waves 4-6 always stock 1 weapon minimum. Reroll hard and reroll often in the early game to dig deep for what ya want or need.

Epic turret is laser, legendary is rocket.

This character more than most others really is limited in its weapon options - it's wrench or screwdriver or nothing. So re-rolling for those weapons seems to be much more important than for others. This run started out with bad luck on the weapons but it turned around toward the end.

It's good to remember that your tools are also melee weapons. They can help in clearing trees and swarms of enemies.

ive won runs with every character. just havent beaten danger 5 with anyone yet so i still have the last character to unlock an its drivin me crazyyyy

Try the knight and use a combo of swords and hammers. That gets you a good # of bonus stats from the set. Then focus on armor, dodge, and hp with plenty of harvesting and luck. That way you can get a lot of materials and more blue+ rarity items show up in the shop.
