Another weak twink character. try simondo belmont with only red cape(evolved laurel), limit break it and ascend to godhood yet again.

I suspect arcana choice has more weight with these weapons (complmenting bounce/elemental ones,etc)

On Mobile, the Arcana chests are Purple instead of Gold.

For whatever reason the bouncing arcana does not seem to work on the charged red version of the weapon but it does work with the blue version which makes the damage scale massively. Just look early on after taking it you can see the difference in appearances.

When I played with Brad, his special passive effect resulted in the more health I loss the slower his main weapon attacked, but only his main weapon, not any other ones I picked up. His main weapon even stopped firing at one point!

I’m new to the game so forgive me if this is a dumb question. Is this a modded game or are the bigger hordes at the start a difficulty option after completing the game?

You could have survived if you had remembered to unban hollow heart and didn't stop moving. What a letdown that the "special" attack of the evolved weapon is actually worse than the regular attack. I think this build deserves another try in the future.

It's very sad that a lot of the weapons in the DLC have almost no pierce... That's really bad for solo weapon runs. That and the directional stuff

You dont need to max out passives, to get evolutions for this DLC weapons.

I think the red blasts are for singular enemies while the blue is for multiple but I might be wrong

The Contra update somehow focused on directional weapons, how surprising...

@DexTag the new weapons don't need their passives maxed to evolve! And once the power pack is used to evolve you can find it again through lvl up

The reason the evolved weapon is worse/gets less kills when standing still is because of the charge time mentioned on the evolution card. It doesn't look like the charge animation does any damage. You constantly fire while moving so there's no breaks in the damage you're doing

I'm super late but I just did this first try SO easy with queen sigma. First card I drew was the tree that draws in all stage items. I collected them all and leveled up every passive item except the ones that add curse to enemies hp speed etc. by the time they were maxed out her weapon was crushing everything. Add in the flamethrower and the fact she reaches 2.5k hp and well over 1k might, she just decimates this. When the passives were maxed out is when I took the card that turns gems into bombs. Literally killed every enemy by the end

Shoulda took greatest jubilee with the candy box. Imagine always spawning lights for the extra bounces

you should picked up the bounce arcana, this weapon is so broken with it

Yeah, this evolution seems rough. Seems like the stationary fire does exactly the same damage as the moving fire, just with a slower fire rate and larger area. But if the normal fire already covers most or all of the screen, then...

i always find the most candyboxes outside of luck-doubling. i don't know why they just rather show up when luck isn't temporarily increased... almost like they hit integer-overflow or something

I don't understand the reason why the damage of the weapon when standing still is the same as if you move, it should be greater to compensate for the damage you can receive from the bosses. An interesting weapon that can be improved but in this game nothing changes after its release.
