Does lifting your travel trailer increase roll over risk or compromise highway stability??
@etrailer Жыл бұрын
Generally speaking, anytime you change the trailer's suspension geometry by raising it, you run the risk of making the trailer more top heavy which can increase the risk of increased body roll and somewhat reduce stability. The greater you're raising the trailer height, the greater the risk. There are many variables involved, so it's not possible to say how tall is too tall, but if you're only raising by an inch or three, you shouldn't have a problem. www.etrailer.com/Trailer-Leaf-Spring-Suspension/Dexter/K71-707-02.html

How do I find out what size /# for my 2020 Forest river Wildwood ?
@etrailer Жыл бұрын
This lift kit is designed for a # 10 Torflex torsion axle. If you send us a clear photo of the tag/sticker on your axle, we can determine which axle it's equipped with and find if there's a lift kit available for it. We'll look forward to hearing back from you! www.etrailer.com/Trailer-Leaf-Spring-Suspension/Dexter/K71-707-02.html

Do you loosen both sides of the axle or leave one side completley tight while working on the other side ?
@etrailer Жыл бұрын
You'll want both sides loose, but still connected. Then, remove the hardware on the side you're starting on. www.etrailer.com/Trailer-Leaf-Spring-Suspension/Dexter/K71-707-02.html

Can use my floor jack under the dexter axel to lift my Lance travel trailer? Or is it better to jack the TT frame?
@etrailer2 жыл бұрын
It is better to lift from the frame because the axle is not designed to be lifted on. www.etrailer.com/Accessories-and-Parts/Dexter-Axle/K71-707-02.html

This kit is compatible with #10 Torflex axles with 2,300 to 4,000-lb capacities. You can find this information by finding the part number on your axle. www.etrailer.com/Accessories-and-Parts/Dexter-Axle/K71-707-02.html

Thanks for the vid ,I would like to know wear do you find the part number for the axel IE # 9 10 11 or 12 Thank you
@etrailer3 жыл бұрын
The axle number is usually stamped near the end of the axle or on a tag that is stuck to the axle. You may also be able to look up the axle information by looking up the year make and model of your trailer. www.etrailer.com/Accessories-and-Parts/Dexter-Axle/K71-707-02.html

After installing the lift kit, is it necessary to get a wheel alignment?
@etrailer3 жыл бұрын
After installing this kit, you are not required to do an alignment. It is not a bad idea to check it while you're under the trailer. You just need to measure from the coupler on the trailer to the end of the axle and do this for both ends of each axle. This measurement should be the same distance. www.etrailer.com/Accessories-and-Parts/Dexter-Axle/K71-707-02.html www.etrailer.com/question-248359.html
