When Dexter Jackson accepted his ninth-place finish at the 2020 Olympia, it was the conclusion of a 22-year bodybuilding career that many consider one of the greatest ever. The 2008 Mr. Olympia, five-time Arnold Classic winner, and all-time record holder for pro wins (29), joined Dennis James for this week’s episode of “The Menace Podcast.”

throughout all those years Dex I admire the most because he know he really understood it was a marathon. Because you hear a lot of guys say that but they get so big so fast they end up blowing their midsection out. And that's just speculation of why that happens obviously thegrowth hormone and insulin and excessive dosages. But that's the name of the game so I'm not knocking it. You have some guys that they don't have the prettiest geneticdisposition of small waist wide shoulders stuff like that. So if they couldn't win on that they had to gain size. first time I picked up a bodybuilding magazines probably 19 years old is approximately about a year after I joined the army in the infantry. And I seen Dex, and truth be told I will overlook him but I always came back to him. Like yeah my thing was the freaks but I always came back to him because he was consistent and just the flow of his body.and also I thought it was a magic trick of him doing the normal standard posing and then all of a sudden doing a most muscular and where did the straps come from LOL. We all know what I'm.looks like the motherfukers are knocking on the door and then you answer the door and they pop up and it's like surprise motherfuker!!

Awesome interview but I really don't like alot of older guys opinions they always make it seem like back in there day everything was better and the guys they competed with back then would destroy the guys nowadays which is 9/10 times not the case and is just biased Ronnie, Dexter, Wheeler, Levrone, Robby Robinson, and especially Dorian Yates all fall into this category

I'm experienced the hiccupsto the point where they're painful that lasted for about maybe 2 days with my longest but I've never had it consistently like Dexter. But I did however go to the doctor because of Dexter and it was because of like some kind of bacteria unless they look. And normally they have while I v probiotic bacterias and they were giving me I think it was like 15 or 20. But they're alive.and I did that treatment for about a week. But I really had to tighten up my diet really.and it's not like it was a dirty diet but I would say the clean eating then to the binge-eating of junk and the weekend or like one one day a week. Things like that.to this day I still don't understand the whole severity or the actual reasoning but it is something to do with bacteria in my stomach or my intestines or something

I love Dexter and his great package of 2009 was amazing and definitely his best ever. But he is delusional that i hé said i know that Jay won but i smoked Everyone on that stage. Jay blow everone away that year and it wasn't even close between Jay and Dexter that year. And the only reason he won 2008 was because Jay was off and Dexter knows that. Just wanted to say that , and that takes nothing away from the blade , 29 pro wins , 5 Arnold classics and 1 Olympia. That is sick 💪🏻💪🏻
