To be fair, despite the flaws in the show, dexter is still better than most modern shows nowadays, even it's so called weakest seasons like 6 and 7 had better acting and writing to offer than shows in the early 2020s Not to mention Michael c hall was still getting nominations for emmy's and golden globes for dexter at that time, which says alot 😂😂

Maybe have Dexter live. He gets life in prison, and he keeps killing bad guys behind bars. Or give some sort of happy ending if possible. He almost had one in the original show, would have if Deb didn't get shot. I would have been fine with Dexter, Hannah, and Harrison all going to Argentina at the end.

I know people can give their criticisms about any show in existence and that's fine But the whole dexter killing an innocent person isn't really one of them. He was willing to sacrifice officers in season 2, he accidentally killed an innocent man in s4(the best season of Dexter) In season 5 he also killed officer liddy who found out that dexter and lumen were killers In season 7 he was going to kill laguerta, until deb did it herself So like I think the show is pretty much showing us dexter is an unreliable narrator, and very much hypocritical However I agree with all your other criticisms tho, let's hope ressurection has some sort of satisfying conclusion for dexter

FUN FACT! I was watching season 7 last night when he kills Hannahs Dad and I was like "That is clearly not even close to the code...". Maybe the narrative actually is as Dexter gets older he becomes ok with killing an innocent if its what he needs to do. Like an animal in a trap. I will say though Dex killing Logan, I think the frustration is he probably didnt neeeeeed to. But still, I hope they give Dex his proper ending!

Dude!! That’s the world we live in now, no one gets their come up ins! Death row is frowned upon now, everyone gets sentences changed to life instead of death!! Come on! lol Dexter needs to live because that’s the whole point to the code! If he dies, then the whole show(s) are literally for nothing and a waste of
