5:40 Looking back this was a great question for the mrs to ask. Normal people would report this kind of behavior or have a negative reaction especially if its frequent enough and they arent a cop. Yet Dexter a lab tech just takes Doakes aggression with smiles and politeness kind of exposing that he's *acting* a genuine nice guy mask to Doakes. Doakes definitely my favorite character in the first 2 seasons.

It was awesome being able to watch it as one big episode. And Deb is my favourite, and not because she is easy on the eyes, she doesn't have that typical smug cop attitude and seems more like a real person that I could hang out with and have a beer and actually have a conversation with.

Glad you've discovered Dexter. Having watched the original run of the show. The anticipation of watching just a single episode per week really enhanced the experience personally. Seasons 5, 7 & 8 are my favorites. "True Blood" was another great show that ran around the same time, but on HBO, another of my personal favorites that had some very decent stories amidst the murder and mayhem of some of the main characters.

Dexter is fine as hell I binged watch this during the “pandemic” it intrigued me because when I was a child my dad was OBSESSED with this show and was basically like you guys . I specifically remember coming downstairs and seeing the nails 💅in some type of dream dexter was having and my dad was super hyped lol. So it was cool to reminisce with with my father now that I was older. When he was still alive 😞 Bittersweet nostalgic feeling watching this ❤ thanks for the content guys.

It's funny to me that I started as only a fan of Mr. Movies as he's so instantly likable and funny, but the more I've watched, I've almost become more of a fan of Mrs. Movies. What's fun about Mrs. Movies isn't so obvious. Her quirks are what makes her special, what makes her make sense with Mr. Movies. Really I like both, but I am ALMOST more of a Mrs. Movies fan. Almost. But both are where the real magic is.

I loved Dexter from the start. So much, I binge watched the lot. John Lithgow was terriffying. Colin Hanks was sick. With nut jobs like them, it was a good job Dexter was worse than any of them. Keep going till the end people. Peace out.

24 is awesome❤ everytime Jack Bower gets up close and whispers... man...look out . I think season 3 of 24 was probably my favorite. I hated the way his government treated him & could not stand his daughter.. although that one episode.. when Jack tells his daughter to shoot the Man that's trying to hurt her & then tells her to shoot him again. Wow..He Was Awesome. Also ' La Femme Nikita' with Peta Wilson was a great show.✌

24 is one of my favorite shows, but if I were to read a summary or watch a trailer, I would probably presume that I would hate the show. However, I don't know, 24 has this certain quality to it. It's old enough to be nostalgic, and the cast is cool. It just works.

I think my favourite was Debra, I like all those "muggle friends" the main character tries to keep away from their secret life And TV series... I recommend Astrid et Raphaëlle, it provides great crime stories with a wholesome protagonist you just want to hug

Man i *LOVED* this show - I got so into it that I even read all the books and ngl.... the tv show is one of the very rare exceptions where the TV series is WAY better than the books lol the books are great too, but very very different - the show does change a *lot* from the books, like for instance Rita's kids Cody and Astor are also psychopathic just like dexter, it's never explored or explained what happened to them other than that they had an abusive father, but they're both active killers by the time they're 10yrs old. It's one of the major reasons Dexters decides to date Rita, because he thinks he can help them the same way that Harry helped him.
