Now that you have worms cultivating on the top rack you should fill all the bins on the second rack with aquatic plants. This will cut your water changes in half.

Without mud or clay in your tubifex tank, tubifex will die matter of days. Make sure mud,clay is free of course sand etc. by fine net separation. Feed n they will multiply. Easily harvested with a fine net free of any dirt. Clay will pass through leaving only clean tubifex.

Hi Dexter, will the pump you are using for the worm culture suck up the koi fry? Would suggest using a sponge on the intake or a small plastic bin basket with holes small enough so the babies do not get sucked in? I use a plastic trash bin the put the pump in the bin (in water of course) so that my baby fishes are safe 😁👍🏻 cheers buddy

You will have enough to sell, it appears. That looks like a lot of places for worm. Look forward to seeing it. Careful with those Electronics. The result can be electrocuting instead of shocking. This was one of those situations that could have been ugly. So, be careful. How else are we going to learn this stuff? LOL!

You need to feed the worms dog food or cat food bro, plus don't step on the water while the submerisble pump is running it is so dangerous you will know that it will be grounded sometimes submersible will ground because of the wear and tear so safety first unplug the submersible while your working in the water or you can use airlift pump instead

Mr Dexter ur setup is wonderful 👍... But I have one query.... Tubifex worms tend to die in the container sometimes thereby making the entire water foul smelling and dirty.... In that case won't u be risking the entire pond to get dirty? Coz the flow of water is from the pond itself n goes back to the pond...
@DextersWorld6 жыл бұрын
